SAN FRANCISCO, May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Skies Marketing & Public
Relations Staffing Solutions today launched a network of junior-level public
relations and marketing communications consultants.
Founded in 1997, Blue Skies has provided pre-qualified staffing to more
than 100 corporations, agencies and non-profits throughout California and
other regions of the U.S.
"A minimum of five years experience was required to even apply to our
network when we launched four years ago," said Rhonda Silva, Blue Skies
vice president. "The new juniors have one to four years experience, but have
been subjected to the same rigorous testing and screening process that
distinguishes Blue Skies from our competitors."
Silva said the new division has been created in response to client and
prospect demand and extensive market research.
"While market demand for our highly experienced associates is still
strong, there is a need for less experienced, lower-cost talent, as well," she
said. "Our juniors were culled from hundreds of applications. They are
bright, talented and available at a greatly reduced price."
Public relations agencies will benefit most from the new network,
according to Silva, who notes that, "agencies have to be able to hire people
at a price that allows them to add enough markup to cover costs and a
reasonable profit." More than 20 public relations agencies have used
Blue Skies talent since the company's inception.
This launch of the junior network is the second in a series of new service
announcements Blue Skies is planning this year. Just last week, Blue Skies
announced that Greg Lefevre, an award-winning, veteran journalist and former
Bureau Chief of CNN San Francisco, had joined the company as a media
consultant and trainer for hire. Lefevre served as Bureau Chief and
Correspondent for CNN for 17 years.
